The 4th edition of the ESSMA Summit took place 16 and 17 January 2018 in the iconic Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland. About 375 people active in the sports and stadium industry could network and listen to leading keynote and seminar speakers.

One of the keynote sessions focused on matchday operations. An introduction was provided by Marc Schmidgall, Head of Communications and Marketing ECA, followed by presentations from Roger Brosel, Head of Content and Programming LaLiga and Francesco Gianello, Head of Stadium Juventus FC.

Dublin’s iconic Aviva Stadium, home of the FAI and the IRFU, was the stunning backdrop for the ESSMA Summit 2018 this week.

Organised by ESSMA (European Stadium & Safety Management Association) in partnership with the ECA (European Club Association) and the EPFL (European Professional Football Leagues), the ESSMA Summit has become the must-attend event for those involved in the stadium industry.

Dublin fair city’s Aviva Stadium, the world-class, all-seater home of the FAI and the IRFU, and Ireland’s only UEFA Elite certified stadium, was this week transformed into the host venue for the ESSMA Summit 2018.
