During ESSMA’s Fan Experience Workshop at Legia Warsaw, Bas Schnater - (former) Marketing Coordinator at AZ Alkmaar - focused on how to use data to enhance fan engagement and which initiatives AZ Alkmaar has implemented.

Tiago Gouveia - Marketing Director at FC Porto - shared how FC Porto transitioned its operations to become more digital.  

During the last home match of the 2018/19 season, Standard de Liège wanted to send out a strong message towards its fans in regards to ‘say no to racism’.  Prior to the match against Club Brugge, ESSMA interviewed Sascha Feytons - Infrastructure Director - about the process of implementing the message and why they collaborated with ESSMA Stadium Partner, AirPrint.

This year’s Fan Experience Workshop was organised at Marshall Jozef Pilsudski Legia Stadium, home of Legia Warsaw. Over 46 members from 16 countries learned insights and shared knowledge linked to stadium enhancing experiences, fan zones, loyalty, rewarding and attracting fans to the stadium.
