Plans for 2024 Olympics in Paris unveiled

The International sports and entertainment design practice, Populous, an ESSMA Corporate Partner, unveiled in corporation with Egis, an engineering group, their plans for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. They propose 38 Olympic and Paralympic venues spread across the city.


Included in the plan are the use of numerous existing building, as well as temporary sites, such as beach volleyball at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, and several new venues. Egis and Populous’ main objective is to make sure that the 38 venues are integrated in the city’s urban landscape, whilst creating them sustainably, to support Paris 2024’s commitment to be the most sustainable Games ever.
