After meeting up at the ESSMA annual conference in Prague, Steve Frosdick of IWI Associates was commissioned by Martin Murphy and Bill Enright of Aviva Stadium in Dublin to research and recommend a matchday safety and security organisation. The recommendation was derived from a synthesis of various international guidance documents together with a comparative analysis of the matchday organisation at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, the Stade de France, Paris and the Amsterdam ArenA. The recommendation has been agreed between the Stadium Development Company, the Irish Rugby Football Union and the Football Association of Ireland. A good example of ESSMA members working together
